Turkish company's visa problem solved

TEL AVIV (A.A) - November 8, 2011 - Israeli government has solved the ongoing visa problem of workers of Yilmazlar, a Turkish construction company, which is one of the leading companies in construction sector in Israel. The problem was finally solved upon pressures by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Although required procedures have been met, Israeli Foreign Ministry has not been approving the extension of visa of Turkish workers in Yilmazlar Company for nearly six months. Israeli Economy & Social Committee, which convened on Monday, approved the visa request. Nearly 800 Turkish workers of the company got their working permit. Yilmazlar construction company has been operating in Israel for 15 years. Earlier, the company's Executive Board Chairman Ahmet Reyiz Yilmaz was presented the "businessman of the year" award. The company, which also operates in Turkey, Romania and Poland, employs nearly 1,000 Turkish workers as well as Israeli workers.
