Rise in consumption of fuel oil continues in Turkey

ANKARA (A.A) - November 8, 2011 - The sale of fuel oil in Turkey reached 12.9 million tons in the first nine months of 2011. 84 percent of that amount was diesel and 11.7 percent was oil, according to figures of Energy Market Regulation Board (EPDK). The sale of fuel oil increased four percent in the first nine months of 2011 when compared to the same period of 2010. A total of 12.4 million tons of fuel oil was sold in January-September 2010.
