President directs further YR 6 billion support to Lahj

LAHJ, Sep. 25 (Saba)- Governor of Lahj Ali Annaqib affirmed that
President Ali Abdullah Saleh directed allocating YR 6 billion as
exceptional support for covering governorate's needs of service and
developmental projects.

Annaqib told 26 September net that ten wells would be drilled in the
governorate's capital for covering increasing demands of water in
the capital and in Tuban governorate.

Other projects, with the cost of $ 10 million from the World Bank,
in field of electricity and sanitation would be also carried out

He noted that 3000 housing unit for youth and people of lower
income would be kicked off, in addition to establishing modern
government compound to the governorate and completing Jalajel
Tourist Project.
