President launches and lay foundation stones of capital bridge

SANA'A, Sep 25 (Saba) - On the occastion of the National Days of the 26th September, 14th October,and 30th November, president Ali Abdullah Saleh inaugurated and laid foundation stones of a number of bridge projects in the Secretariat Capital.

The projects launched included six bridge projects three of which
at length of 700 meters, one at length of 600 meters and anothre
at 560 meters.

The projects cost YR 1.3 billion.

President Sale also laid foundation stones for a number of bridge
projects included the 700 meter long bridge of al-Siteen cross
Muthbah street and the university intersection at a cost of YR 2
billion. The project is scheduled to be completed next February.

The projects also included the bridge of Finance cross with the
ring and custom intersection at a cost of $ 10 million.

The 700 meter-long bridge of Khawlan street cross Berlin street
whose construction will start next November and will end after
eighteen months.

And the bridge of al-Hasaba street cross the airport street, the
bridge of al-Zubairi street cross ring street and the bridge of Arab
League street cross the leadership street and the Sawad Hanash
bridge.

The projects would built with funding from the government and the
Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development.
