FM receives Kuwaiti counterpart

NEW YORK, Sep. 25 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi
received on Thursday in New York Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Mohammed
Sabah Saleh Al Sabah on the sidelines of meetings of the 63rd round
UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, they reviewed issues of interest to both
countries, coming on top fighting terrorism, refugees flow to Yemen
and GCC country and piracy.

They emphasized the importance of security cooperation between the
two countries in this field and holding an expanded security
conference to include Yemen and the Gulf countries.

The two officials agreed to hold meeting of the Yemeni-Kuwaiti Joint
Committee in the beginning of December.

Al-Qirbi affirmed that attempts to harm the Yemeni-Kuwaiti
historical and fraternal relations failed to see the light.
