Sheikh of Al-Azhar and Egypt's Mufti highlight Saudi ND

Cairo, September 25, SPA -- Sheikh of Al-Azhar Mohammed Sayed Tantawi
expressed congratulations to the Saudi leadership, led by the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud, and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on its national
day, wishing it more progress and prosperity.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, he said the national day of
the Kingdom is a holy day for all Arab and Muslim peoples, wishing
the people of the Kingdom to continue enjoying security, prosperity
and progress.

For his part, Dr. Ali Jumaa, Egypt's Mufti said Egyptian people share
the Saudi king, government and people the happiness of the national
day, wishing them continuous joy.

In a separate statement, he said the Saudi national day is being
celebrated by non-Saudis as Saudi Arabia is the source of joy and
happiness to sisterly peoples.
