Flood water swamps Ramintra road, Thai army golf course
BANGKOK, November 1 (TNA) - Flood water continues to freeze inbound and outbound traffic on Ramintra road at a section from the Laksi roundabout to Ramintra Kilometre 4.
Around 30-40 centimetres of water above the road surface prevented traffic for small vehicles on Tuesday morning, while residents at Soi Koobon, especially at Soi Koobon 27, were seen travelling on boats, some having already evacuated.
Flooding at the inbound Ramintra road was penetrating into the Royal Thai Army Golf Club, near the Laksi Roundabout where water reached some 50 centimetres high on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, at Soi Koobon on Ramintra Kilometre 8, flooding on the road surface appeared to be increasing sporadically.
At Soi Koobon 27, housing estates earlier affected by discharges from nearby communities witnessed 20-30 centimetre high flooding the same day. Some houses in the area have reportedly been inundated well over a week, such as the low-lying Tor Chor Dor community, where local residents use boats to get around flooded streets. (TNA)
