DRAUGHTS YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS STARTS HERE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The 24th World Youth Championships for 10x10 Draughts started on Monday in Ulaanbaatar. This year's tournament is attracting 32 boy and girl players from 13 countries--the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, China, Uzbekistan, Malaysia and others. At the six-day competitions, which are running by the Swiss system, a representative of the World Draughts Federation (FMJD) Johann Demasur (Belgium) is working as the judge-general. The competitions will be concluded after nine games on November 4. Mongolia is hosting the World Youth Championships for the second time, the first one took place in 2006. B.Khuder
