Brazilian Football Confederation welcomes holding a friendly match with Iraq

Baghdad (NINA) - The Brazilian Football Confederation welcomed holding a friendly match between Brazil and Iraq. A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said "the Ministry’s Undersecretary, Labeed Abawi, visited the Brazilian Confederation and expressed Iraq's desire to organize a friendly match between Brazil and Iraq." it added "head of the Brazilian Confederation , Ricardo Vera Vixeira, welcomed holding the match and expressed his readiness to visit Iraq to make the necessary arrangements for it, after connecting FIFA to determine the appropriate time, which is likely to be early next year." Abawi arrived in Brazil on Tuesday to open talks to activate the Iraqi-Brazilian joint committee. /End/
