Maliki stresses the need to find legal frame to the success of the investment process in the country

Baghdad (NINA) - Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, stressed the need to find the legal frame to succeed the investment process in the country, according to a statement of his office. He said, during his meeting with the chairman and members of the National Investment Commission, which he visited today: "we seek to break the existing barriers that impede the process of investment, despite the rush of investment companies," noting that the real suffering faced by investment is the legislations that were active in the past. These legislations are not encouraging, and would not achieve the desired results. He continued "we demanded the Investment Commission to resort to Cabinet in any case that impedes the investment process." Maliki called for "focusing on the private sector to reassure it and allow it to participate in investment, in housing sector, as its participation will contribute to the absorption of unemployment.” /End/
