AZERBAIJAN’S MINISTER OF CULTURE AND TOURISM ATTENDS 23RD MEETING OF CIS CULTURAL COOPERATION
Baku, 25 September,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev attended the 23rd meeting of CIS Cultural Cooperation in Almaaty, Kazakhstan, on Wednesday.
The meeting participants discussed the prospects of development of the cultural
areas in CIS countries, draft law to CIS Cultural Cooperation Conception, the
upcoming 65th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War and other issues.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Garayev underlined that the Council of the European
Countries’ Culture Ministers will take place in December 2-3, in Baku. Ten member
states of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) will first attend this
meeting organized by the Council of Europe and the government of Azerbaijan.
