Former lawmaker to receive award from German Embassy
SEOUL, Sept. 25 (Yonhap) -- A former South Korean lawmaker will receive an award for his efforts to enhance relations between Korea and Germany, the German Embassy in Seoul said Thursday.
Kim Chong-in, who served four terms in the National Assembly and is the current
chairman of the Korean-German Parliamentary Friendship Association, will receive
the Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit from the embassy on Friday.
The award is in recognition of his contribution to fostering the bilateral
relationship in the political and parliamentarian fields, the embassy said.
