FIRST BLOCK OF “UMID-1” PLATFORM PUT INTO EXPLOITATION
Baku, 25 September,(AzerTAj)Factory of Deepwater Jackets named after Heydar Aliyev put the first block of “Umid-1” three-storeyed dwelling platform into exploitation.
Construction works have been completed within 9 months. The weight of platform
established for “Umid-1” is 3 000 tons. The two sectional platform is designed for
depth of 58 meters. The blocks will be carried to deposit installed on 71 kl away
from coast during 14 hours.
