ANGELA MERKEL ADDRESSES HONORARY MEETING OF PARLIAMENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Speaker of parliament D.Demberel delivered a speech at a honorary meeting of the State Great Khural arranged for Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday.
The Speaker said Mongolians are satisfied with widening of the bilateral long-year relations and cooperation with Germany and underlined that the inter-parliamentary relations and ties between MPs have been running at a high level, which is important for the inter-citizenship relations.
"Modern parliamentarism is developing in Mongolia," he stressed. "The Mongolians always thank Germany's government and people for helping their country strengthen values of the democracy and market relations and for improving the economics," D.Demberel said. He expressed a hope that this visit will significantly contribute to expanding of the bilateral relations and cooperation.
In her speech at the honorary meeting, Mrs Merkel said Germany is ready to render comprehensive assistance to Mongolia in investments, developing infrastructure and the mining sector.
Present at the meeting were also the State Head Ts.Elbegdorj and the Prime Minister S.Batbold.
