VICE SPEAKER MEETS BUNDESTAG MEMBERS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Vice Speaker of Parliament G.Batkhuu held Thursday a meeting with Bundestag members who were here in frames of German Chancellor's visit.
The Vice Speaker expressed a satisfaction with intensive development of the Mongolia-Germany comprehensive partnership relations and cooperation, and underlined an importance of roles of the countries' parliaments in expanding this cooperation.
G.Batkhuu said members of the Mongolia-Germany inter-parliamentary group intend to visit Germany after the Chancellor's visit, saying it is an expression of widening of the cooperation between the countries.
The Vice Speaker said parliament of Mongolia maintains a policy on expanding the commercial and economic ties with Germany, augmenting investments, introducing the latest techniques and technologies, and expressed a willingness to widen the collaboration in mining, agriculture and education. He also said Mongolia wants to increase number of its people studying in Germany and to intensify the student exchange program.
Expressing a satisfaction with talking about the bilateral cooperation, a Bundestag member Mr Jurgen Koppelin said the countries have opportunities to cooperate in erecting joint factories for agricultural and mining sectors and manufacturing value-added final products.
According to a Bundestag member Mrs Dagmar Enkelmann, Germany side intends to share experience with Mongolia in mining rehabilitation.
