PGN COMPLAINS OVER LOSS IN TENDER
Jakarta, Sept 25 (ANTARA) - State gas distributor PT PGN Tbk complained on the loss of some tenders for gas in North Sumatra held by the Upstream Oil and Gas Executive Agency (BP Migas).
"We've lost twice in the BP Migas tender for US$ 0.1 below the competitor's price bid," said PGN Director, Hendi P Santoso in a hearing with the House of Representatives Commission VII on energy here Thursday.
He also complained that the PNG loss was due to lack of experience and gas distribution infrastructure.
Hendi actually did not want to mention the company's name, because of a potential conflict, considering it was an open hearing with the press attending.
He asked for a written answer to the company names which had caused PGN to lose in the tender.
