Nepalese President Visits Qatar Foundation

Doha, October 13 (QNA) - President of the Republic of Nepal Dr. Ram Baran Aadov and his accompanying delegation visited on Thursday Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, as part of his current visit to the country.
The Nepalese Presidnet was received upon arrival at Qatar Foundation by Acting General Manager of Al Jazeera Children's Channel and Communication Director at Qatar Foundation Haya Khalifa Al Nassr.
The Nepalese President, through the model of Qatar Foundation building, was briefed on the current and future projects of QF, including universities and education and research centers.
He also listened to a presentation on Qatar Foundation and its vision and goals, as well as an explanation of its architectural plan besides an explanation of its projects and social and scientific research programs.
The President expressed pleasure for visiting Qatar Foundation and being briefed on its projects and significant role in the areas of education and scientific research. He also expressed admiration for the vision of Qatar Foundation to invest in human being to serve the humanity as a whole.
Signing Qatar Foundation's Guest Book, he said "I am very impressed with the goals that Qatar Foundation, which is a center of science, knowledge and development, seeks to achieve."
The Nepalese President stressed his country's keenness to benefit from the Qatari experience in the field of education and scientific research.
At the end of the visit, Haya Khalifa Al Nassr presented the Nepalese President with a memorial gift.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to India and non-resident Ambassador to Nepal Hassan Mohammed Rafeh Al Emadi accompanied the President during the visit. (QNA)
