Hamas Spokesman: Prisoner Exchange Deal Reached in Accordance to Resistance Standards
Doha, October 12 (QNA) - Spokesman for the Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) Dr. Ismail Radwan stressed that the prisoner exchange deal was reached at first time in accordance to the resistance standards not the Israeli.
In a telephone interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA), Dr. Radwan said that the deal was based on new standards that, for the first time, break the Israeli standards by the release of resistance leaders, as well as the release of detained Palestinians from Jerusalem, the territory of 48 and the Golan.
He added that the deal reflected the unity of geography and Palestinian people through the inclusion of all Palestinian factions and forces.
Regarding Qatar's significant role in supporting the Palestinian cause, Dr. Ismail Radwan said that the role played by Qatar is strong and based on supporting the Palestinian cause, expressing gratitude to Qatar and Egypt, which has also played a central and key role in ending the prisoner exchange deal.
Hamas Spokesman said that maintaining the confidentiality of the path of the negotiations on the deal contributed to the completion of the deal. (QNA)
