Committee of Qatar's Initiative "HOPE FOR" Meets

Doha, October 12 (QNA) - The Committee of Qatar's initiative "HOPE FOR" has held a meeting chaired by HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for Follow Up Affairs and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Organizing Conferences Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, with the initiative's Advisory Group.
The meeting, which was held at the Foreign Ministry on Monday and Tuesday, discussed the arrangements for holding the International Conference on the Initiative "HOPE FOR" in Doha at the level of ministers and senior experts and advisors from November 27 to 29.
The Foreign Ministry, the Interior Ministry, the Qatari Armed Forces, the UN Office of Humanitarian Affairs, the Advisory Group, the International Affairs College in New York, and the main supporters - the Governments of Turkey and Dominican- will Participate in the conference.
The State of Qatar launched the "HOPE FOR" initiative in September 2010, to enhance the effectiveness of using military and civilian assets in natural disaster response. (QNA)
