STOCK EXCHANGE WEEKLY REVIEW

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Five stock trades were held at Mongolia's Stock Exchange from October 3 to October 7. In overall, 1.1 million shares were sold of 52 joint-stock companies totaling MNT 5.9 billion.
Index TOP-20 was 20584,14 points increasing 826.18 units or 4.2% against the week earlier. The total market capitalization was set at MNT two trillion 51.1 billion increasing MNT 48.1 billion or 2.4%.
Shares of "Berkh uul" /100.8%/, "Tavan tolgoi" /32.2%/, and "Sodot" /32.2%/ increased, but shares of "Baganuur" /16.1%/, "Shivee ovoo" /15.0%/, and "Talkh chikher" /14.6%/ decreased. 19 stocks closed higher, 26 shares declined and seven shares remained unchanged. Shares of "Sharyn gol" /452.2 thousand units/, "Remikon" /283.7 thousand units/ and "Genco tour bureau" /76.5 thousand units/ were the most actively traded in terms of trading volume and in terms of trading value--"Sharyn gol" (MNT 5.0 billion), "Tavan tolgoi" (MNT 638.5 million), and "APU" (38.5 million).
