PM meets outgoing WB representative
SANA'A, Sep 24 (Saba) - Prime minister Ali Muhammad Mujawar met on
Wednesday with the outgoing World Bank representative in the country
Mustapha Rouis.
The two discussed aspects of cooperation between the bank and Yemen
and achievements in the country during the past four years.
Mujawar praised the role of the bank in promoting its relationship
with Yemen through financing projects or providing technical
assistance.
He affirmed the government is interested to boost cooperation with
the WB to carry out organizational, administrative and economic
reforms to be added to measures taken to fight corruption and
regulate tenders and governmental revenues.
Rouis appreciated the government cooperation to accomplish his
duties well, pointing to the big changes Yemen has made during the
last four years in term of economic and organizational reforms.
He said such improvements encouraged the bank to increase its
annual support for Yemen and turning out some of loans into
