MONGOLIA-RUSSIA TIES THROUGH ARCHIVE DOCUMENTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An archives documents, photos exhibition themed “Relations of Mongolia and Russia XX century” has been running in the Ulaanbaatar city's museum.
The action is dedicated to the 19th meeting of a Mongolia-Russia joint commission on cooperation in archives and to the 90th anniversary of diplomatic establishment between the two states.
The exhibition shows some 400 original and copy documents such as cooperation agreements, contracts, notes, letters, telegrams, as well as photos that feature events related to politics, economy, armed forces, culture and so on. Taken from various archives of Mongolia and Russia, these exhibits show how vital for Mongolia's independence and development matters used to be treated on the highest level of the two states.
The exhibition will continue for a month.
