P.SERDAMBA TO COMPETE FOR SILVER
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ At the Amateur Boxing World Championships running in Baku, Azerbaijan, a State Honored Sportsman P.Serdamba satisfied Wednesday a condition of winning a bronze medal after defeating his rival at the quarterfinal contest.
At the contest in light flyweight for bronze medal, Serdamba defeated a Cuban boxer Veitia within the first round. He will fight against Shin Jong-Hun from S.Korea at the next contest for silver medal.
In the 64 kg contest, a Mongolian U.Monkh-Erdene will compete against Italian Vincenzo Mangiacapre, a bronze medalist of the European championships, for a bronze medal.
