MEETING OF MONGOLIA-EU JOINT COMMITTEE APPROACHES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 14th meeting of the Mongolia-European Union Joint Committee will take place October 13, 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. The Mongolian side will be chaired by M.Enkhbold, the Deputy PM.
At the upcoming meeting, the sides will exchange information on the political and economic situations and the foreign policy, and will consider opportunities to expand the Mongolia-EU relations, present situation of development cooperation and its outcome.
The two sides intend to share views on opportunities to cooperate in education, sciences, social welfare, labor, food, agriculture, environment, infrastructure, professional inspection, nuclear safety and sanitation. Mongolia also wants to present its ways of introducing principles, norms and standards of the EU.
The sides will discuss matters on establishing a partnership and cooperation agreement, organizing a visit of Mongolia's PM to the EU, opening the EU's diplomatic mission here, crossing out Mongolia from the list of the non-market economic countries.
