Officials trained in radioactive sources security
Thua Thien - Hue (VNA) - Thirty two officials from Departments of
Science and Technology and involving radioactive sources agencies nationwide are attending a training course on security of radioactive sources of group A that commenced in Hue city on September 23.
The training course aims to raise awareness on radioactive sources
security and guide the officials in implementing Vietnamese regulations on
radioactive sources safety and international commitments that have been
signed by Vietnam 's government.
Lecturers at the course are experts from Vietnam Agency for Radiation and
Nuclear Safety & Control (VARANSAC), Australian Nuclear Science and
Technology Organisation (ANSTO) and the US National Nuclear Security
