QC Implements Development Projects in Mali
Bamako, October 04 (QNA) - Qatar Charity (QC) has inaugurated a number of charitable projects in the Koulikoro Region, Republic of Mali, as first phase of the Community Development Project, which aims to provide aid and assistance to women's organizations.
The total cost of the first phase was about one million Qatari riyals of the total amount appropriated for the project in all its stages which reaches more than QR 3 million .
According to the statement issued by QC , the project aims to contribute in the fight against poverty and achieving the Millennium Goals which the Republic of Mali seeks to achieve by end of 2015 through the support of the capacity of the most needy groups, especially in the field of food security and provision basic services such as health, education and water.
