P.SERDAMBA AND U.MONKH-ERDENE TO FIGHT FOR BRONZE


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Two Mongolian boxers were qualified to compete in the London Olympics after they beat their rivals in the 3rd round contests on Tuesday at the World Amateur Boxing Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan.
At the 49kg weight category contest, a State Honored Sportsman and World champion of 2009 P.Serdamba defeated Ceiber Avila from Colombia and got the right to participate in the Olympic Games. He will compete for bronze medal against a Cuban boxer Yosbany Veitia.
The same day, another Mongolian U.Monkh-Erdene also defeated an Iranian Mehdi Tolouti at the 3rd round contest, getting the Olympic right. He will face Vincenzo Mangiacapre from Italy at the next contest for bronze medal.
