Kazakhstan calls oil export date from Kashagan field development

Oil extracted from the Kazakh big field Kashagan will not be exported earlier 2019-2020 within the second phase, Kazakh Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev said at the VI Eurasian forum KAZENERGY in Astana on Tuesday.
He said that oil production in Kazakhstan will increase up to 132.1 million tons, gas - up to 92.2 billion cubic meters by 2020.
About $ 33 billion-investments have been invested in the Kashagan field development project.
This field is located in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea.
Up to 50 million tons of oil will be extracted in the first stage of experimental-industrial development in the field annually.
The expected oil reserves on the Kashagan field hit no less than 10 billion tons and gas reserves - more than 1 trillion cubic meters.
