Nujeifi denounces the Kirkuk bombings, holds security systems in the city responsible

Baghdad (NINA) – Speaker of Parliament, Osama Al Nujeifi, denounced the criminal bombings that targeted innocent civilians in Kirkuk and led to tens of casualties.

Nujeifi held, in a statement issued by his office today, the security systems in the city “responsible for that dangerous violation,” stressing the necessity of opening a full investigation and expose the involved people and parties, reiterating the need to double the efforts to prevent repetition of such crimes.

A car bomb parked near a Rafidein Bank branch downtown Kirkuk blasted during the police salaries distribution, leading to the death of 2 policemen and injuring 58 of policemen and civilians, in addition to burning 8 cars and hurting the nearby houses.
