Jordan, Iraq and Kazakhstan Support Doha Bid for 2017 IAAF World Championships
Doha, September 29 (QNA) - Jordan, Iraq and Kazakhstan have supported Qatar Association of Athletics Federation's bid for Doha to host the 2017 IAAF World Championships.
Giving its support to the Doha 2017 candidature, the Jordan Athletics Federation stated, "The Jordan Athletics Federation fully supports the Doha 2017 bid. Doha has proven itself to be a strong organizer and will only be stronger in the future. The 2017 Championships will be something to remember."
The Iraqi Athletics Federation said, "The Iraqi Athletics Federation has experienced first hand how events are organised in Qatar and therefore fully supports the bid of Doha for the 2017 IAAF World Championships."
Kazakhstan Athletics Federation said, "The Athletics Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan gives its support to the Qatar Association of Athletics Federation for the bid for the 2017 IAAF World Championships."
