CHECK-IN VIA WEB, KIOSKS FOR MAS CUSTOMERS

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines (MAS) customers in
Malaysia will be able to check-in via the web and self-serve kiosks for all
international travel by year-end.

In a statement here Wednesday, senior general manager (transition
management), Dr Amin Khan, said international customers would be able to do web
check-in by next year.

"They can also select their preferred seats online 24 hours before flight
departure and print their boarding passes," he said.

Amin said customers using the web and kiosk check-in could also drop off
their baggage, if any, at designated airport counters.

He said MAS customers for Association of South-East Asian Nations
destinations could now bypass the queues by checking in via the web or kiosks
located at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport to simplify passenger
travel.

"These two check-in services are now available for travel to 16 cities such
as Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Phnom Penh, in addition to all
destinations in Malaysia," he said.
