Haya Khalifa Al Nassr Appointed as General Manager of Al Jazeera Children s Channel

Doha, September 28 (QNA) - Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani announced on Wednesday the appointment of Haya Khalifa Al Nassr, Board Member of Al Jazeera Children s Channel and Communication Director at Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, as Acting General Manager of Al Jazeera Children s Channel.
As Director of Communication at Qatar Foundation, Haya Al Nassr has spearheaded cutting-edge communication strategies that support Qatar s transition to a knowledge-based economy, firmly establishing QF as an instantly recognizable, highly-respected brand globally.
Al Nassr joined QF as head of the Board Management Office for the Board of Directors in January 2001. Ms. Haya made several achievements since joining QF.
Nassr holds an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Qatar University. She is also Chairperson of the Qatar Luxury Group, and a Member of the Qatar Music Academy Board of Governors, as well as the Board of the Al Jazeera Children s Channel, Qatar MICE Development Institute and Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Publishing and Cultural Development Center.
