S. Korea drawn for 2009 world volleyball tourney
SEOUL, Sept. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korea has been drawn with Argentina, Serbia and
France in next year's top international volleyball competition, the sport's world
governing body said Wednesday on its Web site.
The 16-nation World League competition, organized by Federation Internationale de
Volleyball, will begin in June next year and is considered the organization's
flagship international tournament.
South Korea, which finished 14th in this year's competition, is ranked the lowest
in Group B for the 2009 tournament, with Serbia standing at 5th.
France in next year's top international volleyball competition, the sport's world
