SPEAKER WORKS IN ZEREG SOUM OF KHOVD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Parliament Speaker D.Demberel worked last weekend in Khovd aimag's Zereg soum. This soum has population some 3,100 citizens.
During the stay, the Speaker got acquainted with activities of the soum's hospital and secondary school and then held a meeting with people. According the soum's authorities, this soum has started construction of an annex for the hospital, and it will accord the standards having 15-20 beds. Money of MNT 558 million has been allotted from the state budget for the construction.
Having over 700 pupils, the soum's secondary school was founded in 1956. Last year, the school put a new dormitory into use providing those pupils from distant soums. The school's director B.Undrakh said there is no problem over the school's activities.
People asked the Speaker questions about allowance for the mother with many children, the Order of Glorious Mother, salary loans and state policy on supporting state servants living at remote areas.
In response, the Speaker said it is expected size of salaries for state servants would increase, but he is not very sure about the salary loans.
