FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS WITH PM OF JAPAN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar attended a reception organized September 22 by Yoshihiko Noda, the Prime Minister of Japan in frames of the 66th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, USA. Mr. Noda has expressed thanks on behalf of the Japan's government to the UN members for rendering assistance and moral support to Japan during the natural disaster occurred in March of this year.
During the meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister, G.Zandashatar underlined that the two countries always have been helping each other, and congratulated Mr. Noda on becoming the new Premier of Japan. Mr. Noda hoped that he would strengthen and widen the Mongolia-Japan relations and cooperation.
The Foreign Minister also met with A.Nagashima, a special advisor to the Japan's Premier on foreign policy and national security; and Hina Rabbani, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan.
