HE Awqaf Minister Appoints Members of Hajj Mission - For Local Press

Doha, September 25 (QNA) - HE Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari issued today a decision appointing Qatar's Hajj Mission during the 1432 hajj season.
The decision stipulated that the mission shall have the following members:
Abdul Hakim Ali Abdul Rahman Al-Abdullah as President of Mission
Yousuf Ali Al Kadhim as Vice-President
Ali Mubarak Al Faihani, as member
HE Ambassador Saeed Khalifa Al Mohannadi as member
Nasser Yousef Al Sulaiti as member
Colonel Hussein Hassan Al Jaber as member
Dr Abdul Salam Ali Ahmed Al-Qahtani as member

The decision also stipulated that the mission shall have additional committees in the different areas and chaired by:
Mohanna Yousuf Al Sulaiti religious guidance committee
Abdullah Hamid Al Mulla inspection and control committee
Ali Rashid Al fuheidah Al Marri public relations committee
Ibrahim Mohammed Al Nima secretariat and information systems committee
Abdulrahman Abdullah Muqim transportation committee
Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Jaber supply committee
Abdullah Ali Al Mudhaihki services and technical committee
Abdullah Mohammed Al-Hail regulations and safety committee
Dr Khalid Abdelhadi medical committee

The president of the mission and heads of the committees shall propose members of these committees and shall refer them to the minister, the decision added.
The mission's duty is to represent Qatar in the annual Hajj conference, and to participate in the activities of committees, meetings and symposiums held during the season with the aim of improving the situations of Muslims.
It oversees the Qatar Hajj convoys to the holy lands, and to ensure that the contractors are carrying out their duties regarding the provision of the requisites of comfort and safety to the pilgrims as stipulated in the agreements made with them.
The mission also renders services to the pilgrims from Qatar regarding guidance and awareness, treatment and security for misplaced persons, resolving of disputes between pilgrims and contractors, and provision of whatever facilities that enable them to perform the rituals properly.
