Government begins preparation for 4th Development Plan 2011 - 2015
SANA'A, Sep. 23 (Saba) - The cabinet approved on Tuesday commencing
the arrangements for the draft of the Fourth Development Plan 2011 -
2015.
The arrangements include determine the plan's public trends, issues
and sectors that are reacquired to studied, taking the local needs
into consideration in addition to identifying the trends of dialogue
with development's partners (government bodies, local authority,
private sector, civil society and donors).
In its weekly meeting, the cabinet affirmed the significance of
achieving the millennium development goals by 2015 and the
comprehensive development rehabilitation to merge in the Gulf
Cooperation Council's economies also by 2015.
It emphasized carrying out an inclusive evaluation for the first
three-year of the current five-year plan and to submit a related
report to the cabinet as soon as possible for discussion.
The cabinet assigned the Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs,
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, in coordination
with Legal Affaires Minister, to prepare the president's decree
draft concerning forming the supreme committee for preparing for the
fourth development plan.
