General Assembly of West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Starts Tomorrow
Amman, September 23 (QNA) -The West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) General Assembly is to open its meeting in the Jordanian capital of Amman, tomorrow, Saturday, under Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, the Vice President of FIFA.
The agenda of the meeting includes a presentation to be forwarded by Qatari Bid Committee to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, such a historic event due to open in Qatar.
The Qatar Football Association (QFA) will attend the general assembly by a delegation to be headed by the QFA's chairman HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al Thani. The delegation also includes Ali Al-Nuaimi, the QFA's assistant secretary, who will be nominated for the West Asian Football Federation (WAFA) board of directors.
Meanwhile the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) announced their full support to Qatari Bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The representatives of West Asian Football Associations held their coordination meeting in Amman, Jordan on Thursday.
Attendees of coordination meeting confirmed their trust in the Qatari ability to host the FIFA world cup.
It is worth to mention that Qatar Football Association will hold its annual General Assembly meeting at the association s headquarters on October 3rd.
