HH the Emir Meets Heads of Delegations Participating in 66th UN Assembly
New York (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani met on Wednesday at the permanent mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations a number of heads of delegations of States participating in the work of the 66th session of the UN General Assembly.
HH the Emir met President Michel Suleiman of Lebanon, President Tsakhia Elbegdorj of Mongolia, President Dr. Danilo Turk of Slovenia, President Dr Dervis Eroglu of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
His Highness also met Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
Talks during the meetings reviewed bilateral relations and the most important topics on the agenda of the current session of UN General Assembly.
The meetings HE Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emiri Diwan Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, and a number of their excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Emir.
