Statement: Nujeifi, Maliki stress necessity of resorting to constitution to solve all differences
Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki and Parliament Speaker, Osama Al Nujeifi, stressed necessity of resorting to the constitution to solve all differences.
A statement issued by Nujeifi’s office said that both sides stressed the “necessity of resorting to the constitution to solve all differences in the political process and the disputes that erupt among parties.”
The statement added that “Maliki got acquainted with the results of the visit conducted by Nujeifi to Erbil and meeting with Kurdish President, Masoud Barzani.”
The statement concluded “both sides expressed mutual visions about necessity of holding tripartite meeting comprising the Iraqiya Slate, National Alliance, and the Kurdish Alliance to discuss important issues related to security, economy, and national partnership as soon as possible.
