Khalidy: IS meeting discussed Nujeifi’s initiative
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the Iraqiya Slate, Mohammed Al Khalidy, announced that the meeting of the Iraqiya leaders and MPs held today and presided by Dr. Iyad Allawi, head of the IS, discussed Nujeifi’s initiative and the IS stance towards it.
He told NINA that “the meeting held in the IS HQ in Parliament discussed Nujeifi’s initiative and the slate’s stance towards it as well as the developments in the Strategic Policies Council and the important laws and emphasizing the importance of endorsing them.”
Khalidy added “the meeting stressed on uniting the media statements of the slate.”
