Qatar to Host Aspire4Sport Conference in November

Doha, September 21 (QNA) - The second edition of Aspire4Sport, the Middle East's leading sports business forum, will be held here from November 12 to 15, organisers announced.
Aspire4Sport is the only conference of its kind in the region that assembles international sports celebrities, administrators and decision-makers.
Aspire Zone Vice President Tariq Al Naama said, "With Qatar confirmed as host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and with Doha bidding to stage the 2020 Olympic Games as well as 2017 World Athletics Championships, Aspire4Sport 2011 offers the perfect opportunity for anyone in the business of sport to network with decision makers in Qatari sport.
"The conference is a perfect setting for the Aspire Zone team to meet officials from international companies, understand what they can offer and include them in our database for future tenders if they fulfill our requirements."
Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee General Secretary Hassan Al Thawadi said, "There are huge opportunities for international firms to help deliver the Qatar 2022 vision everything from stadiums, training facilities and fan zones through to ticketing, broadcasting and technology.
"We will be at Aspire4Sport 2011 to meet with relevant experts so they can begin to understand what the potential opportunities are, their scale and our timelines for moving forward."
