Pakistani nabbed with heroin
BANGKOK, September 21 (TNA) - Thai customs officials have arrested a Pakistani man on charges of heroin possession.
The 41-year-old, identified as Hudsim Khan, was apprehended Tuesday at Suvarnabhumi International Airport soon after he arrived from Islamabad.
Officials said they retrieved a total of 92 heroin packages, weighing about one kilogram, from the culprit’s excrement. X-ray indications showed the drugs were hidden in his stomach.
Khan reportedly told officials that he was promised 50,000 baht in return for the job.
Officials said they earlier received tip-offs about the smuggling attempt, which led to the arrest. (TNA)
