EuroConvention on Infrastructure in Qatar 2011 Kicks off on Tuesday

Doha, September 19 (QNA) - Euroconvention on Infrastructure in qatar 2011 kicks off here tomorrow , Tuesday . The two-day conference , to be organised by Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) aims at inviting the European, US , Asian and Canadian companies together with their Qatari counterparts woking in the infrastracture in Qatar.
The leading projects Qatar is now witnessing in infrastructure field have gained worldwide applause on part of several international parties as they are valued at more than USD 55 billions and the total value of investments in such projects except oil and gas will be about USD 100 billions in the coming few years.
The most prominent of such projects are the railways project, real estate under construction foremost among which Lusail and Barwa , Doha New International Airport and the highways and flyovers. The size of such infrastructure projects are expected to increase in qatar in the coming stage in view of qatar's bid winning the hosting of 2022 world cup .
These projects will cover the engineering sector and engineering consultancy to develop leading projects in the state to the value of billions of USD. (QNA)
