Maliki: forces and orientations tried to arouse sectarianism among Iraqis
Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki said there are forces that tried to arouse sectarianism among Iraqis.
He added, in a press conference held today with Parliament Speaker Osama Al Nujeifi “the regional situation is unstable, there are countries that are not stable now, therefore, it is very necessary to prevent Iraq from any of these situations and to preserve it from any assault that could harm its people and lands.”
He continued “we are facing problems while we are in a building process on democratic basis, but, we will continue the process.”
Maliki stressed the necessity of going on to build trust among all, as it is the real bridge that links all thoughts and interests.”
