MOD in Ramadi to discuss security situation of the city
Ramadi (NINA) – Acting Minister of Defense Sadoun Al Dulaimi met with Anbar Governor Qasim Mohammed and the Anbar Provincial Council Chairman Mamoun Al Alwani and the President of the Iraq Sahwa forces Ahmed Abu Risha to discuss the security situation in the province.
Media advisor of Anbar Governorate Mohammed Fatthi Hantoush told NINA correspondent that “the meeting stressed the necessity of interfering to calm things down and avoid being led by emotions especially in the Nukheeb case and the following incident of arresting a group of Rutba city citizens.”
He added “MOD Al Dulaimi announced the release of all detainees except four of them until an investigation is done in Anbar police command.”
Participants in the meeting reiterated the necessity of starting a dialogue with Karbala PC and all other provinces to coordinate the security work and face up to terrorism of all kinds.
Acting MOD arrived in Ramadi heading a delegation comprising a number of officials including Minister of National Security Falih Al Fayadh and office Manager of General Commander of the Armed Forces Farouq Al Araji.
