Qatar 2017 Bidding Team to Launch Promotional Campaign
Brussels, September 16 (QNA) - The High Organizing Committee of Qatar Bidding team for IAAF 2017 Athletics Championships will launch a promotional drive for their 2017 bid file in Belgium city of Brussels on Friday.
HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Secretary General and Chairman of Qatar 2017 Bidding team will address a press conference Friday to review Qatar s vision and capability to host the international sport event, the committee said today in its website.
At Friday s press conference, the QOC Secretary General will also deliver a marketing presentation to highlight the outcomes could be gained from awarding Qatar the rights to host IAAF 2017 Mondial.
Earlier on September 3, deputy chairman of Qatar's bidding team, Dahlan Jumaan Al Hamad, had formally handed over five copies of the bidding file in the South Korean city of Daegu, hosts of IAAF 2011 World Championships.
The winning host for the 2017 event will be announced in Monaco in November
