The Little Heart competes at Bangkok film festival
Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnamese film Trai Tim Nho Be (The Little Heart) will be competing for a Golden Kinnaree at the International Film Festival in Bangkok , which opens on Sept. 23.
Produced by the Vietnam Film Studio and sponsored by the US Global Film
Initiative, the film tells the story of a group of impoverished rustic
villagers who move to the city to make it big.
Directed by Nguyen Thanh Van and Nhue Giang, the film has won numerous
awards domestically.
The International Film Festival in Thailand , which was launched in
2002, has gradually grown in prestige.
The festival attracts films from as far afield as the US , the UK ,
France , China , Belgium and Brazil .
All entries are divides into international and Southeast Asian films.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Aksra Theatre in Thailand
at the end of the month.-Enditem
