Nujeifi, Australian ambassador discuss bilateral relations
Baghdad (NINA) – Parliament Speaker Osama Al Nujeifi discussed with the Australian ambassador to Iraq bilateral relations.
A statement issued by Nujeifi’s office mentioned “the Australian ambassador conveyed to Nujeifi her country’s readiness to treat the drought phenomenon in Iraq since Australian has a great experience in this field and to develop the agricultural field as well.”
She also conveyed an invitation to the MPs to visit Australia and get acquainted with it democratic experiment, stressing that her country will always be a friend of Iraq.
The statement explained that “Nujeifi demanded forming a joint parliamentary friendship committee especially that Australia enjoys a bright future in the international community structure.”
