Thai fuel prices to drop for two consecutive days

BANGKOK, September 13 (TNA) - PTT and Bangchak Petroleum announced on Tuesday they will cut their retail petrol prices again on Wednesday for two consecutive days.

According to the report, the prices of octane-91 gasoline, octane-95 gasohol, and E20 and E85 gasohol will drop by 40 satang a liter, while the price of octane-91 gasohol will go down by 60 satang a liter, and the diesel price by 50 satang a liter.

Saran Rangkhasiri, the PTT executive vice president for oil business, said the changes will restore the price differences between octane-91 gasoline and octane-91 gasohol at 3.03 baht per liter.

Meanwhile, Pailin Chuchottaworn, chief executive officer and president of PTT Plc, said the price rollbacks aim to reflect the reduction of the global oil price and counter criticism of profiteering moves among oil traders. (TNA)
